There are two ways Americans have power in our country; one is by voting, which we should all do, the second way, as I see it, is to buy only products made in the USA. How you spend your dollars speaks almost as loud as your vote! Buying American made products would bring about a revolution that would bring jobs back and bolster the economy. It’s really simple to do, each time you buy something, anything, even at the dollar stores, make sure it’s made in America! Look at all the products you buy even in the grocery store. If it’s a foreign made product, find a similar product made here. It may cost a bit more, but if we all do this, it would send a powerful message. Americans sometimes feel they have no power, but what we all need to realize is we have the ultimate power and that is how and what we spend our hard earned money on!  Think local, think green, think made in the USA!

Summer is here!

The great thing about our country is freedom!! Now, I admit, we have our problems, the Gulf oil SPILL, Health Care Reform, Taxes to name a few! But I’d rather live here than any other place in the world! Struggles, Haiti and Molly Hightower

I started out to write about my struggles with overcoming my disability due to a stroke that left me unable to speak. Then the earthquake in Haiti happened and Molly Hightower died. I didn’t have the pleasure of knowing Molly and it is tragic that her life was ended way too soon. From all the news reports I’ve heard, she had a good heart and lived her live knowing she was helping those children.

On the other hand, think about it for a minute, are you living your passion like Molly did? Is your job and life fulfilling in the way hers seemed to be? Finding a passion in life can be a really difficult task, so in that regard, I am truly blessed. I found my passion, being a woman and owning my own business doing something I love! My company Foldin’ Money is so fun and so unique that it makes me happy to be a part of it. As a stroke survivor I am doubly blessed in that I can run my business in spite of my garbled speech.
