Recently I attended a seminar that promoted teaching how to crack social networking and help your business grow. This was sponsored by a large company whose services my company currently uses so I felt this was a qualified event to attend and the speakers on the list seemed very interesting. I was very excited about all the knowledge I would gain from this all day event. Well, you know what they say, nothing is free!! EVERY speaker was only there to do a sales pitch for their book or DVD series to obtain the knowledge this seminar promised we would receive. It was an entire day of infomercials! The “free lunch” was simply cold cuts and two salads. There was no way to even make a sandwich. So, okay, I didn’t pay for it, so I guess it was worth every penny.
